Nel Mostert started her own company MCCIM - Mostert Consultancy for Creativity and Innovation Management in October 2010 after working with Unilever as an Innovation Process Facilitator for 11 years.
With Unilever she facilitated workshops and delivered training to cross-functional Innovation Teams for processes like visioning, strategy, scenario writing, project management, risk management, knowledge management, consumer/customer insights, team building, cultural awareness and - her key expertise - creativity & innovation.

For her key expertise and passion Nel Mostert has given lectures at several international Conferences and has published articles like: ‘Creativity, the knowledge connector’ and ‘Creativity in organizations can be measured and acquired’ (see list of publications).

Nel Mostert facilitated over 625 sessions with over 10.000 scientists and experts in the areas of R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Consumer Insights, etc., in many countries in Europe, in USA, Brazil, Vietnam, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, India and South-Africa. In doing so, she participated in exchanging Project Management and Innovation tools and techniques in such a way that Unilever is optimally using the expertise and experience globally available within the company. 

Her background is in Marketing (Bachelor – Cum Laude) and Business Administration (Drs.). These part-time studies were done next to her full-time job from 1995 to 2001.
In 2005 she obtained the title of CPF (Certified Professional Facilitator) with the IAF (International Association of Facilitators; www.iaf-world.org). With the IAF she is also an assessor and Committee-member of the IAF-Benelux.

In 2008 Nel Mostert was accredited by the Belbin Association www.belbin.com. Nel uses the Belbin teamrole tool for teambuilding facilitations. Her Belbin Teamroles are Plant, Completer Finisher, Implementer and Specialist.

Nel Mostert her hobbies are her work and gardening. In 2009 she wrote a book on the youth of her mother who was born on the Dutch island of Marken (www.jeugdopmarken.nl).
